The Daily Mirror have reported that Arsenal are chasing Iceland international Gylfi Sigurðsson and could well make a move for him soon. Some sections of the media have dubbed him the New Frank Lampard.
He Graduated at Reading and went on to play 51 games for the senior them banging in 22 goals and assisting 10 for his team mates.
He then moved to German side Hoffenheim where he made 39 appearances creating 4 assist’s for his team and going on to score 10 goals.
The 22-year-old is currently on Loan at Premier League side Swansea were he is enjoying himself very much scoring seven goals and assisting four more in just 14 appearances for Welsh club. He looks a real talent and is currently valued at £5.6m by his current club Hoffenheim.
At that price he could well be a great bargain if Wenger can do the deal before others become interested and push his price up.
