Daniel Sturridge is said to be unhappy at Chelsea and will look to move to another club if they don’t finish in the top 4 this season.
Chelsea are facing a big battle for 4th spot in the Premier League and more importaly the last Champions League spot and 22-year-old Sturridge could well ask to leave Chelsea if they don’t get it.
Reports in the English media have been circlating that Sturridge is unhappy with his role out in the wings as he sees himself as a main striker that should be playing down the middle instead of getting pushed out into the wings.
Sturridge could look to move on anyway but failure to make the Champions League could be the final straw for the striker with Arsenal known to keen admirers of the young English man.
A close friend told the Sun – “Daniel will be distraught if Chelsea finish outside the top four ? he’s desperate to prove himself at the highest level and that means he wants Champions League football, not Europa League.”
Arsenal have already made enquiries over the availability of Sturridge and a possible move in the summer could well be on the cards if things do not improve at Stamford bridge.
