Cheslea Defender Dreams Of Move To Spanish Giants Barcelona !

David-Luiz-on-ball

Chelsea centre back David Luiz has said that he would “love” a move to Spanish side Barcelona but did go on to insist he is fully committed to Chelsea.

The 24-year-old Brazilian only joined Chelsea in January 2011, his main strength seems to running out of defence and starting play instead of the usual long ball or simply pass to the left or right back – something that may well interest Barcelona head coach Pep Guardiola.

However, Luiz has been criticised for his, at times, shocking defending which have cost Chelsea goals on a number of occasions this season.

Luiz was quoted in the Daily Mail talking about Barca – “What I can confirm is that I have not negotiated anything and no-one has submitted a concrete offer. I am 100 per cent a Chelsea player.

“Barca are a great team that play fantastic football. Every player would love to play for Barcelona, but I am with Chelsea and I have an obligation to my club.”

David Luiz signed for Chelsea at the same time as £50 million pound striker Fernando Torres and has alarmly scored more goals (four) than the striker in the Premier League so far.
