Kenny Dalglish’s Liverpool will face competition from numerous clubs from Italy in their battle to sign Hertha Berlin midfielder Raffael.
The Premier League club have been linked with the former Juventus trainee over the last month, with the Daily Mail reporting that Liverpool have sent scouts to watch the player a number of times throughout the season.
However, InsideFutbol have reported that the Brazilian’s agent has said that the Reds will face stiff competition from Napoli and a host of other Italian clubs should they follow up their interest in him.
Dino Lamberti (Raffael’s agent) said -“At the moment, Napoli have not specifically asked for him, but I can say that he is wanted by several Italian clubs.”
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is believed to be keen on bringing in new talent to the club in the summer transfer window. It is also believed that the Liverpool owners do not want to fork out large sums of money after wasting alot of money over the last year or two on big signings that have not lived up to their cost.
While it had been suggested that Liverpool could get the Hertha Berlin man for around the £7 million pound mark, his agent has slapped a €15 million price tag on him.
