Chelsea Transfer News 2012 January – Chelsea Defender Alex looks set to turn down a move to QPR to ex-boss Ancelotti at Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Mirror.
The Brazilian international has had his transfer request accepted by Chelsea and has been training with the reserves for the last month or so and now looks likely to join PSG in France.
The big centre half joined Chelsea in 2004, but spent three seasons on loan with Dutch side PSV, before returning to Stamford Bridge in 2007 and going on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
QPR had permission to talk to Alex from Chelsea last week after a reported bid of £4 million, but Alex has other ideas and is more interested in a move to France or even back home to Brazil instead of Mark Hughe’s QPR side.
