Rodriguez ia a star for the reserves and that hasn’t went unnoticed by current Madrid manager Jose Mourinho who has included the young Spaniard in his recent first team squads, though he is out of contract at the end of next season, hence the interest from Manchester united.

Rodriguez played in the Spanish U17 team at the 2010 European Championship where the player scored a goal in the semi final as Spain beat Turkey 3-1 on their way to losing to England in the final.
The Spanard scored 17 goals in Real Madrid’s under19 side in the 2010/11 season. Rodriguez’s displays were so good that he was called up to play for the club’s Castilla (reserve) team, who play in the third tier in Spain.
